Kids Eat Free

Although I once worked at a restaurant that hosted a "kids eat free" night (& had to clean up many spills and dropped goldfish), I still believe this is a great idea. I have compiled a list of restaurants providing specials throughout the week for the little people in your life! *These deals apply to select locations only, I would recommend calling ahead and confirming that your nearby location honors these deals.

Firehouse Subs: Kids under 12 eat free from 4pm to 9pm (Sundays & Wednesdays)
Jason's Deli: Kids eat free all day
Salsaritas: Kids eat free all day, one kids meal per adult entree
Steak 'n Shake: One free kid's plate, drinks not included, for every $8 spent (Saturday & Sunday)

Applebee's: One free children's meal per adult meal purchased (Monday &Tuesday)
Chili's: Two free kids entrees per adult meal purchase
Golden Corral: Kids under 10 eat free with adult meal purchase from 5pm to 9pm (Mon-Weds)
IHOP: Kids under 12 eat free with adult meal purchase between 4pm and 10pm

Dennys: Kids 12 and under eat free between 4pm to 10pm (Tues, Thurs & Sat)
Texas Roadhouse: Kids 12 and under eat free from 4pm to 10pm
Chik-fil-A: One free kids meal per adult meal purchase from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
McAlister's Deli: Kids 12 and under eat free from 5pm to 9pm - up to 2 kids meals for each adult entree purchased
Moe's: Kids 12 and under eat free all day

Buffalo Wild Wings: Kids 12 and under eat for $0.99 from 5pm to 8pm
Qdoba Mexican Grill: All day

Every day:
Cici's Pizza: Kids under 3 eat free - one free child's buffet per paying adult
On the Border: Free sundae with kids meal purchase
Quizno's: Free kid's entree with adult entree purchase

In addition to this awesome list, I stumbled across Out to Eat with Kids which allows you to type in your location and pulls up restaurants in the area with deals and specials on kids' meals. This would definitely come in handy when trying to save money while traveling!

Frugal Cruising Tips

Frugal Fiancée: First Week of Engagement

Hi frugal friends! Guess what?! Last Saturday, my boyfriend of 6 (almost 7) years popped the question. I have decided that this would be a great opportunity to share some frugal wedding planning tips and tricks. In college, I worked for an event planner and saw first hand how much money is spent on weddings. After throwing away over $4,000 in flowers one night, I knew there had to be a way to cut down on wedding costs. During this wedding planning period, I am going to do my best to find ways to help you stay within your wedding budget when it's your turn. Here is the first of many in my "Frugal Fiancée" series.

Before I start to share tips and tricks, I will summarize how the first week of this engagement has gone for me. This has been a crazy week but I am also grateful for all the positive support we have received.

After the proposal on Saturday night (which took place in my favorite spot on Wrightsville Beach, NC), I began to tell my close friends and family. Some pe…

Western Caribbean, I'm coming for you!

I'm falling off of the social media map for a week. I will be spending my Spring Break cruising around the Western Caribbean. While I'm gone, you guys should check out Groupon and Living Social to possibly plan your next vacation. (I didn't use either of these to plan my trip, but they have great deals!) These sites offer discounted prices on goods, dining, events, and travel!  Groupon Getaways  Living Social Escapes
Also, sign up for PINCHme. Once a member, you will have the ability to request a PINCHme box approximately every other Tuesday around noon (they will email you with reminders). Once you receive the box with your products, test them and take a survey to rate each item. This is an easy and awesome way to try out new products!
